We, at Glintplus, consider Researchment as a compound word formed by combining the verb: research and the suffix: -ment. -ment is a noun suffix that is added to the end of a verb to create a noun, according to Study.com. –ment could mean the act of doing something or the result of an action, state or condition resulting from a (specific) action and result or product of an action or a process among others. Cambridge Dictionary says –ment is “used to form nouns that refer to an action or process, or its result”. Researchment, therefore, refers to the act or process of conducting research and the use of research results in policymaking, innovation and development.
